Lambs that Howl: is Matthew's debut novel. It features a cast of 60+ characters spanning the globe, and even delving into worlds unknown. The novel begins with the journey of Amos Stanson, an out of work, graduate school grad, who inadvertantly stumbles upon the secrets to an massive underground organization that seems to have connections and contacts the world over, and is somehow linked to the death of Amos' uncle, Nestor. The rest of the novel follows the testimonies of people who may or may not have been contacted by, "The Movement", the name of the alleged underground organization, and how they have been touched and impacted by events they can't quite explain.
Outside Time and the Voice in Your Ear: This is a collection of poems by Matthew which represent his favorite poems composed over the last three years during his travels across the U.S. and Mexico. In this collection, Matthew experiments with many different forms and voices. He also explores many different "taboo" themes such as: sex and spirituality, homosexuality, mortality, war, conspiracy, God, good and evil.
